In COTA, if I take the first two corners of the 3rd sector too hot, then the next couple of corners before the long triple right hander are pretty tough because my rear tires will be at like 110-120C. Temperature does play a factor for sure though. But they work well enough and I've not had issues with tire wear or anything.
Mind you, I am not an intense, chasing the last hundredths, type of player (like I said, I use ABS), so my setups aren't perfect. But overall, outside of Monaco and Singapore most of my setups are pretty similar (there I run max front roll bar and softer springs and higher rides). I mean sometimes I adjust suspension to a higher ride height on more curb heavy tracks, but with this I can run with 110 AI just fine (I do use ABS as my only assist though).
